In this class, we will work on learning dance combinations set to songs from Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals. Dance styles will mostly be jazz, modern and a little hip hop and ballet thrown in! Some of the choreography will be original to the show and some will be created by the teacher. No dance experience is necessary, as variations will be given to accommodate different dance abilities and learning styles.
Dancers can dance in socks, jazz/ballet shoes, athletic shoes or barefoot, and wear clothing you can move in comfortably--layers are recommended. Please bring water every week and be ready to sweat!
Ages 12-17
SESSION 1 - Mondays 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. - 9/8-10/20 (no class 10/13)
SESSION 2 - Mondays 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. - 10/27-12/8 (no class 11/24)
Adult class (Ages 18+)
